No entanto acho que o manancial tecnológico que uma Tesi 3D representa, não se coaduna com o conceito de café-racer. A moto tem um aspecto do mais bizarro que possa parecer.

Bimota Tesi 3D RaceCafe



It is the latest technical and stylistic interpretation of the Tesi project, the innovative hub-steered motorcycle that has been designed and developed within Bimota since 1983.
The Tesi 3D RC will be offered in addition to the Tesi 3D Naked to evolve and expand the very popular “Café Racers” segment of the motorcycle market. The innovative Bimota chassis features two swingarms, one in the front and one in the rear, in composite structure. These combine light alloy for the hubs and structural carbon tubes for the trellis. The Tesi 3D RC has a revolutionary way to adjust the motorcycle ride height, with millimeter precision using two eccentrics where the front and rear suspensions are joined to the chassis. The front end can be adjusted through a range of 9.5mm and the rear end has a range of 14mm. Through this new system, the Tesi 3D RC can be raised or lowered by 23mm if both adjustments are made in the same direction. These chassis innovations and state of the art materials, combined with the new Ducati 803cc engine, allow Bimota to create a new market segment with Tesi 3D RC. The brand new version of the Bimota Hyper-Naked has been improved both technically and aesthetically. The latest Diavel engine with twin spark guarantees that this version of the Bimota chassis has the highest performance level available. And now is equipped with all of the latest electronic controls, such as Ride by Wire (motorized throttle body), Traction Control and ABS. The Bimota Impeto can be enhanced, beyond its already standart configuration, with components from the “Bimota Experience” accessories list: composite frame, light alloy plates combined with structural carbon tubes, composite swingarm, light alloy plates combined with structural carbon tubes, advanced dashboard with a 3.5” TFT color display. São puros exercícios de técnica, de como se pode complicar ao extremo uma coisa que tem uma resolução simples!

A Yamaha com a GTS fez o mesmo... a Peugeot igualmente.... e a BMW também, com o telelever e/ou duolover!

Que cena estranha... mas interessante... adoro aquelas peças de alumínio maquinado.

Nelson.... chagámos a ver uma Tesi de primeira geração, numa antiga motoexpo, na FIL da Junqueira!

Gosto muito do quadro, odeio aquele braço basculante(?) da frente

Sim... mas não deu para resistir fazer uma piada com o 3D!  

Enumeraste as Tesi e ainda assim conseguiste deixar escapar a Vyrus!
Não é justo ignorá-la. Afinal, é uma casa fundada pelo autor da "tese". É quem vendeu o design à Bimota... e que continuou a desenvolver o conceito durante o período em que a Bimota andou pelas ruas da amargura.

(esta 0B3 TT que lá estava é óptima para o Officer, pois naquele estado em que ela estava, gasta pouco e não lhe conseguem sequer enquadrá-la num escalão para se saber quanto pagaria de IUC. Depois na crónica perceber-se-á porquê! )
